I've seen messages here about people ripping from records. I'm curious what they are using
to digitize the music. Is the SNR of a, for example, Soundblaster Audigy card sufficient for a
good recording? Are there approaches other than using a PC sound card for capture that are higher
quality? What are the best soundcards for digitizing music?
Thanks,
John

I use an Audigy EX connected to my Onkyo 939, which is connectet to my Technics tangential record player. Also I record in CoolEdit and use the ClickFix-plugin to remove the worst of clicks and stuff. Works pretty good in my not so humble opinion!
