Here is a somewhat old post on problems with performer store.
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=61553.0
Look at my todays reply to this issue.
Can anyone help?
I tried to run regsvr32.exe also as admin as recommended. No success so far.
I'm having this problem since I installed MC 19. I ignored it for long. But now I would love to get it resolved.
Thanks for any advice.

If you have an older version(s) of Media Center installed, try uninstalling it (them), then rebooting and trying Performer Store in MC19.
Also you might try disabling a firewall or anti-virus software temporarily.
Is the error you're getting in Performer something about "protected tracks may not be available"?

Yes it has. I have seen this message, but I don't get it allways. The downloaded track has somehting lile "licence error" or licence problem in the first column, when you open the download area.
There is no other version of MC installed on this PC.

Can you play full length subscription tracks from within the Media Center Performer Store? Is the problem only with downloaded subscription tracks?

You may need to reset Microsoft DRM. Here are some instructions I copied from a post on a Microsoft forum:
Step 1: Run internet explorer as administrator and check.
Here is how you do it:
a. Click on start button, type internet explorer.
b. Now in the search box, right-click on Internet explorer and select Run as administrator.
c. Paste the following link in address bar and click the Update button:
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp (http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp)
The button will be grayed out unless you run as administrator.
Restart Media Center and try to play the downloaded track. If it still doesn't play, exit MC and try to play it with Windows Media Player. Afterwards, try again with MC - first login with your Performer account and play a streaming subscription track from the main Performer page, then try playing the downloaded track. Try downloading another track and it should work fine the first time.

Thanks so far. I did the proposed. However it only works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I do not know why. In the download area I'm getting "licensing error (103)" in the status column, when it does not work. When it works I'. getting "completed".
This is very instable. I have to check how I can repeat the failure.
I may need more help and keep you updated.

I have done a few more testing. The result is: I don't get it to work.
After I reset the MS-DRM as admin, did what has been proposed (download the file from Performer, play in performer, play in Windows Media Player, play a file in Performer, download a new file) everything works fine. (All Anti-Virus Software is paused at this stage). After the file is downloaded I see "complete" in the status column of the download view. So far so good.
Then I close MC19, open it again, open Performer, download a file - also and still working.
Then I simulate next day: restart the PC open MC19, open Performer, download a file - not working anymore.
This is not what I think it should be. (By the way: I can't be the only person with this kind of problem)
So, if I do not get e proposal for a good solution from JRiver in the next few days, I will cancel my subscription of Performer. I still love MC19. It seems that Performer is not well maintained over time ... since it worked in older versions without problems.

There was a bug that has now been fixed as of build 102 which should be available soon. Sorry for the trouble.
-
... a bug ... how nice to hear it's not my stupidity and my PCs configuration.
Thanks for listening and searching.
Waiting for build 102 ...

Thanks. Everything is back to normal and works just fine with build 102.
Good support.
