Title: how to use DSP settings and gapless playback over USB?
Post by: Joe Zeppi on December 30, 2013, 01:57:23 pm
How can I use MC audio output settings and DSP settings with a network connection (I prefer wireless) to an Oppo 105 as a DLNA renderer? Presently I am using a WiFi DLNA dongle plugged into my Oppo 105 USB port. USB is my preferred connection because it has the best SQ and enables a wireless connection so I don't have to relocate a PC to my living room. Any suggestions?

One feature I want is gapless playback. Has anyone been able to do this over a network? Some albums like Dark Side of the Moon must be played gapless. Ruins the experience otherwise.

Gapless support via DLNA is rare, it depends on support at both the server and the client. I think some Denon receivers support it.

It is not possible currently to use DSP over DLNA from MC.
