I just installed the trial version of MC and i must say i'm very impressed. I currently use XBMC and MPC-HC to play my bluray rips.
I'm having an issue trying to import my TV Shows. All of my content is ripped as m2ts format and MC isn't scraping the episodes. Can MC scrape tv shows by folder name or is it dependent on the Series and Episode number being in the file name (Lost_S01E01.xxx)?
My current folder structure looks like this:
TV Shows > Lost > Season 1 > S01E02 > bdmv > ...
Thanks

I think you should look at:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Library_Tools (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Library_Tools)
and the entry "Fill Properties from Filename"
The other aspect is making sure that the Media Sub Type matches the video in question:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/File_Properties_%28tags%29 (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/File_Properties_%28tags%29)
You may need to the edit the file or files' tag and ensure that it's set to TV Show or Movie, as required.
After that, it should be as a easy as a right mouse click to grab Movie & TV Info:

One thing that I do with video files is to make sure that they align with the naming syntax from:
http://thetvdb.com/ (http://thetvdb.com/)
http://www.themoviedb.org/ (http://www.themoviedb.org/)
because these are the 1st pick databases that MC refers to when it goes searching for metadata.
I use a piece of software, theRenamer, to make the job of file name correctness a little easier. Just depends on how many files you're dealing with.

Astromo's suggestions will fix the files already imported.
In the future, you could set up Auto-Import to apply series/episode tags on import, then it will scrape automatically. As astromo mentioned, you may need to apply the Media Sub Type tag on import as well.
Tools -> Options -> Library & Folders -> Auto-Import -> Configure auto-import. Click on your Video or TV Shows folder -> edit. Under Apply these tags (optional) -> Add. Media Sub Type is easy. Choose custom to do Series and Episode. You'll want to use the Filename (path) to write the expression. http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Expression_Language

You may also want to review this thread for tips on how to automate the "massaging" of the metadata MC pulls in at import time, to enable better scraping of TVDB and TMDB:

Thanks, i got this working after seeing astromo and connersw's replies. It just took a little while to figure out the regex syntax.
