Title: How to watch random cover image album when JR plays?
Post by: feliche on January 01, 2014, 05:24:38 pm
Hi,

another question.

Usually when a file is playing with JR19 ONE only file image is presented, for example front or cd album, but I´d like to know if is possible each 10 seconds or any loop time the software can present more than one image, for exmample front - back - cd

Thank very much

Not this way.  MC does not support multiple image files for audio assets.

However, what they're talking about is that Theater View does a (very nice) automatic slideshow when you play music based on the results of some fancy online image searches.  It is quite nice.  Theater View is MC's "ten-foot" UI designed for home theater use on a HDTV or projector or whatever (big screen, big fonts).

It should be available under the View menu (and via a variety of keypresses).  If it isn't there, you probably disabled it as suggested by gappie.

Thank you for your support.

I understand what theater view supose to do but I´d like to keep the initial skin because I using JR only for playing music and it´s for me much more comfortable.

Do JR expect to add multiples images in a loop in the future?

Sorry for my gramar and writing mistakes, I´m foregneir.

Thank you to all

You can do it with a Slideshow.  You would need to import and tag all the images.  AlexB would be your best bet for support since he does it.

Here is a very old post with some links to get you started:  http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?action=printpage;topic=43844.0

Yep.  I was going to suggest the same thing.  If you play images at the same time as music, it does a slideshow with the photos (while the music plays).  You could make a view that shows the music with their related images included, and play those, and it should happen automatically (though probably better with shuffling music).

Buffff I really don´t know how to handle it  :-[

Let me be honest.

I had foobar couple of years and I decided to buy JRiver after test it because I wanted something to make it run by choosing differents options and avoid the needs of, "almost", programming  ;)

I read the links you guys send me but honestly I don´t know where to start.

Can you suggest me what to do or how to follow some instructions?

I bet what Peter is writing in the post are the key but honestly I really don´t understand it and I thinki is because my basic knowledge about JR is none.

Thank you
