Am I the only one with this issue? Can you reproduce?

Your not the only one. Netflix "search feature" is almost total garbage. It's not JRiver's fault.
I posted earlier that if you are searching for a title like "Lost" first you put in the letter "L" and maybe one or two movies show up, then you add the "O" and some other movies show that maybe don't even have an "O" in them, then you do the "S" (you'd think by now that every movie with "LOS" would show - but no). Finally add the "T" and it comes up. You have to type the whole movie title to know for sure whether or not Netflix has it.
I can't understand the search logic used. It's a big pain the butt.

Allow me to add more details regarding the problem I'm having.
problem 1: If I am attempting to watch burn notice, I go to search and type "burn notice" on my keyboard. I then do 10 pushups and MAYBE the screen has now refreshed to show that I typed the letters "burn notice" into the search bar. It takes ~10 seconds to update keystrokes.
problem 1 idea: disable synchronus search capabilities. require the use to press "enter" after they finish typing in the box. While no where near perfect, it is far preferable to the current state (assuming my experience is the norm)
problem 2: Now, when I try to watch 24, I type "24" and the letters "ag" go into the search box. However, my 2 and 4 keys produce 2 and 4 respectively in all other applications (and even elsewhere within jriver)

What build of MC are you using? 19.0.114 is available at the top of the MC19 board.
-
19.0.108. I will upgrade and report back
-
Changed build from stable to latest and upgraded. Still have the same issues.
-
Are you in the U.S.?
-
yes

Does the "Recommended" selection work for you. Some people reported that it works for them, on my machine it justs says "No items to Display".
I just load up the Queue from the netflix website and just select and watch those Shows and Movies. All the other Netflix features don't work on my machine. I may try to just link directly to the Netflix website from MC and stop using the MC Netflix interface completly. Others on this forum do it and say it works well - but you neeed a keyboard/touchpad to navigate the site. Then when you exit the website your back in MC program.

At which point there is no more reason to even HAVE the MC Netflix interface. There are some things that can be done on the MC side to improve usability. Example: not running searches one very letter. Wait till the user presses enter.

still cannot even type numbers into the search bar....
-
You said you "can not type numbers in the search bar", but in Netflix you don't type in the search field, you have to select one of the letters or numbers from the field of letters/numbers displayed. You pick one at a time. I may be wrong, but I have never been able to directly type/enter anything in the Netflix search box.
-
you are wrong. you can type
-
Okay - I learned something new. But if it doesn't work.... :'(
-
it works! Just...very very poorly lol. In order to get to 24 i had to use the sidebar entry that you talked about. I can type letters fine, but it's slow.
Keyboard input is difficult ;)
