I just got a Dell Venue 8, and when MC syncs it chooses .pla format for playlists. I use PowerAmp, which apparently doesn't recognize .pla playlists. I compared this to my Galaxy S3, which is also synced by MC. It stores playlists as .m3u.
I can't find how to force MC to choose m3u instead of pla for the Venue. Is there an option to do this, or does JRiver have to build this into their database of Android portables?
By the way, I didn't see Venue in the 'Help us identify your Android' thread, so I just added my Vendor and Product ID.
