Title: Is it possible auto-import and UPDATE the library?
Post by: bebetou on January 10, 2014, 04:15:11 am

I have a question about the import fuction: after watching all movies on a drive(for me it's a 2tb sata hdd connected with usb), I'll delete all these movies and videos which I've already watched from library(just remove from library), then replace the hdd and put new one on, run import, and then I got the "updated" library.

Is there a way I can just import a new hdd(same drive number, instead of the old one), then MC will add new movies into the library, find which files are missing(becoz they are in the old hdd which is replaced with new hdd), and then remove them from the library automaticlly?

Thanks~~~

I think auto-import should be able to do this.
I suggest deleting files from within Media Center (Shift+Del) so that it updates the library automatically.
