Title: Auto Import
Post by: tshangreaux on January 12, 2014, 05:32:45 pm: New to JRiver. Having trouble with auto import. I'm ripping all my Cd's to an external hard drive. but the auto import isn't pulling them onto JRiver. The only way I can get the ripped Cd's in the MC is to manually import a single folder. I believe all my settings are correct. Can anyone help?

Post by: tshangreaux on January 13, 2014, 02:11:15 pm: I've done that numerous times. The system runs the scan, but nothing gets imported. There seems to either be a problem with one of the settings...or there is a software issue. I'm inclined to believe the problem is in one of the settings...but I cannot determine which one or how to correct. Any chance we could have a phone conversation?

If that's not it, double check which file types you're importing. Edit the folder in the auto import options.

Post by: MrC on January 13, 2014, 02:28:44 pm: Create a Smartlist, and hit the Import / Export button. Enter exactly:

~d=a

and OK your way out. Now use the Search box to look for any of the files (you can use the path components). Do they appear?
