Title: making a playlist for Music01
Post by: zevele1 on February 26, 2002, 10:30:33 am
I would like to make a playlist only for Music01.Whath is the fair deal between space on my hard drive and quality for listeners?
I would like my playlist to look like it
FRANCE
 I
rock
 I
band name
  I
album name
The same for garage--psy--metal--l;ow fi--punk

After France, the same for Israel-Spain-Greece-Italia-Sweeden and so one
Anyway to do it with MediaJukebox?
I do not want and need to import this playlist for me.Can i "export it "to a folder?

You would mind-if ever you listen to it-to have not so sosphisticated rip vinyl?Kind of you can heard the harm landing on the records, few seconds of scrrooo-scroooo before the music?

listening to Giant Sand -Center of the Universe-USA-Desert Rock

Hi zevele1

I don't understand all your questions, but:

At home, I use two libraries. One has APE files for use at home, and the other has 198 kbit MP3 files for sharing on music01.

I think 198 kbits is too much, that 128 kbits is plenty of quality.

Hope this helps,

j

so you think mp3 128kps is a fair deal for both sides
I would like you to see my play list like this
|PLS|france or spain or italy or...
You click on the |PLS|
you get |PLS| rock,|PLS|psy|PLS| garage|PLS| rap
You click on one of the |PLS|
and you get
|PLS|artist name A |PLS|artist nameB and so on
you click on one|PLS|
and you get |PLS| with the album name

For make short, you want to have a try to france -rap-mc solar
You have access to it sa fast that from "your MediaJukebox"

I will take a stab at it...

I haven't used Music01 in a while, so things might have changed here.  Why don't you do as Gateley suggests?  Create a library, call it Music01 if you wish, then in that library create a view scheme called Country/Genre/Artist/Album?

If I am not mistaken, you don't have to have that library open.  I think you can tell Music01 which libary to use.

Thank you,i start to understand the all proces
I still have to rip most of this playlist.Do the fact to open Windows explorer folders like it: france =rock=Noir Desir=1st lp= 2 lp and so on,and to put each download in the appropriate folder will help me to built my playlist ?
I feel the answer is not.I still have the "realjukebox/Easycd creator" syndrome, maybe

>>I think you can tell Music01 which libary to use.
Yes You Can.

The only problem might be maintaining two Library Files
