Title: root user running mc
Post by: Stream on January 13, 2014, 04:28:27 pm
I'd like to run mc as the root user for various reasons. Are there plans to enable the root user to run mc?

Seriously, you should never run as root!
If you try it with vlc it'll tell you to knock it off.
That said, I just tried it and it works for me.

I tried that once too and jriver gives an error about being unable to load library. Options I get to reload or start with new library do nothing and jriver exits.
Running Debian xfce 7.2.0 64 bit.
