Title: Problems installing with Fedora
Post by: psalminen on January 15, 2014, 06:57:03 pm
Hello,
I have been trying to install this on Fedora for a while and I cannot figure out what is wrong with what I am doing. I tried in Fedora 19 with no success, then upgraded to Fedora 20 and have the same problem. It will install seemingly normal, then in the program list it will show up, but there it will no icon for it. Then when I try to launch it, Fedora will tell me that "A problem has been detected in the package", but I am not able to view it. Has anyone else experience a problem like this? Any ideas about how to solve it? Thanks

How did you install it?  Any errors in the install?

Try running /usr/bin/mediacenter19 from a command line and see if it gives you any errors.

Got it thanks! I was missing a libcurl file.
