How do I get JRemote to list my tunes, in my playlists, "alphabetically?"

JRemote shows the sort order based on the order set in the playlist / view scheme rules. That can be set in MC > Options > Media Network > advanced > gizmo view schemes (or something like that)

Appreciate your help but the path in your response does not exist.  Can you please be more accurate in your directions?  Options > Media Network > advanced > gizmo view schemes does not exist.  If you could post exactly what the solution path would be it would be very much appreciated.  Thanx ...

The location you want is Tools > Options > Media Network > Advanced > Customize Gizmo & WebGizmo.  From there, you can customize the views presented to WebGizmo clients.

Also, don't forget to search the forum for Customize WebGizmo; there are plenty of examples.

OK - I think I'm in the right place on the menu now.  However, it would be good if you could publish and example of how to create a sorting rule that will for JRemote to list all the tune alphabetically by tune name.  I cannot figure out how to do that within the menu structure you pointed me to.  Thanx ...

Never mind:  I figured out how to alphabetize all my tunes in JRemote.  The solution has absolutely nothing related to what you posted.  Sorry.  Thanx anyways.

Click on "update order." Easy-peezy!

Update Order is in a Playlist view, at the top, or right-click the playlist's name under Playlists in the tree and select Update Order.

Yep - that's exactly what I would have thought - but it is so not there - anywhere.  Did the MC folks update it out of existence perhaps?
