Title: Suddenly: multiple copies of each file in MC library
Post by: okvaal on January 24, 2014, 12:06:47 pm
Of some reason, I have now got 4 copies of each entry in my library. This may be a result of my struggles to export my files to iTunes, and instead having ended up with copying them back to MC19. So; are there any means to remove these copies? There's no such thing as a "search for duplicates" function on this level, is there? Any workarounds?

Have you tried just Restoring the Library (Files --> Library--> Restore) to an earlier date?  Do a backup first.

Yes, I've already done that, after I posted my question. I tried to remove it (the question), but didn't see how. :)
I also guess that the reason this occured in the first place, was that I somehow had been importing my files from my iPad (or iTunes) back to the MC library. Somehow. Three times.
Anyway, I've decided not to have anything to do with iTunes again. But as this iPad was my first meeting with the Apple world, I just had to try.
So thanks for your reply, jmone. :)
