I'm intent on running JRiver for audio-only purposes with a Chord QuteHD with a mix of redbook, hi-res, and DSD material. Would like JRiver to serve as the remote. Connection from DAC to MacMini by USB. Hoping to use a Thunderbolt drive as the primary storage for approx 3T of AIFF/DSD material.
What, if anything, would I be giving up using the less-fully-developed Mac version vs. my current JRiver/Win 7 setup (using the latest version 19.0.108)? I could easily run Windows 7 /64 via BootCamp on the MacMini though I understand Thunderbolt drives don't sleep/wake normally on Win7 and need to run continuously.
Have waited for the rumored 2013/4 MacMini refresh, but nothing so far!

For an "audio only" setup, I don't think you'd be missing anything. Try the 30 day trial and see if it does what you need.
