I can't restore my legitimately purchased license. I clean installed Windows XP, put my paid for MJ 7.2.280 back on my system, chose "Help | Restore License", pointed it to my "MediaJukebox6.RRG" file, it says it restored it successfully, but the program still sees me as running unregistered software. Now I only have 18 days left. The FAQ mentions that a 6.x license will work with 7.x versions. My license was working fine on this version until I clean installed the OS and reinstalled MJ.
Hey, I like this program the best for my music files. I'll purchase the upgrade to 8.x when it comes out. But I don't want to purchase this version twice. What do I do to make this work?

Just An Idea
you may want to find a version 6 of media jukebox on the internet some place, and try that and upgrade to MJ 7

I'm a moron. I reread the FAQ and it says to do this. I put 6 back on, restored the license, upgraded -- I'm fine. I'm in the running for the Moron of the Week club.

You've got some serious competition. You'll have to do better than that.
BTW, you can buy Version 8 now.
