Have a Monty Python dvd. JRiver cannot find any info for it just calls it "DVD MOVIE". I would like to rename it "Python" or something appropriate. Any way to do that? Before starting the rip or after?
Anyway to Not accept the default (wrong) Movie and TV info when it looks up the disk?

I have done several renames (like after ripping a movie to mkv format where title is then created by the mkv program as "title01.mkv") and I just go to MC's standard view, right click on the movie name and select "rename" from the drop down box. Then MC finds the movie meta data and I don't need to do anything more.

No metadata is available. As I believe I said in the original post.

Update. Your suggestion (standard view, rename) worked. Many thanks!

Update 2. Method above appeared to work, but JRiver did not like it at all, and it ultimately failed.
-
Did it fail to rename or fail to find metadata?
-
Of course in order to find the meta data you have to use the exact name of the movie. When you said you want to name it "Python or something like that" it won't work. Is the actual name of the DVD one of these : http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=Monty+Python or is it collection of shows or home made recordings?
