Hi,
I'm a newbie here, testing out JRiver.
Was working a treat streaming Sage TV derived MPEG TS files to a Panasonic Viera VT30 series TV from a Windows XP machine that I use as a home server - its the first time i've found a media server that actually worked!
I then installed the most recent update and since then it crashes out every time, TV reports a read error.
I have it set to transcode to MPEG/DVD auto fps, without that I get no sound from the MPEG TS files. as an aside thats the only setting that preserved the aspect ratio also.
I've tried deinstalling/reinstalling and it didn't make any difference.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

There have been a changes over the last few builds, what was the last build that worked? (you can just install older builds with no issues).

Try 19.0.111 and turn off hardware acceleration.

Do the settings under Options > Video (such as Hardware Acceleration) impact transcoding when streaming out via DLNA? In other words, does transcoding use your currently selected render chain for playback, or its own separate setup? (Probably a question for Hendrik.)

No, transcoding is not influenced by that option.
It looks like it might always try to use Hardware Acceleration. Curious that never came up before.
Although on Windows XP, the majority of the HW Accel do not work anyway, only NVIDIA CUVID would work.
A crash dump could've been generated, that might be useful.

Thanks for all the replies, I havent had a chance to try an older revision but i'll give that a try as soon as I can.
I think i've attached the log files, hopefully there's something in there that will help. The dmp files were too large to attach.

Can you update to 19.0.114, available from the top of the board, reproduce the crash, and then send the full log zip file (including the crash dump) to logs at jriver.com?
