What video Card / APU spec (AMD OR Nvidia) do you require as a minimum to run NNEDI3 Chroma Upscaling for 1080i material?
-
The better the card, of course the higher the settings you can run. You can run on most newer cards but the slower cards can not run as many neurons. You will probably get a more concise answer if you ask specifically about the ones you are considering.

I've got an Nvidia GTX 750ti, and I can run NNEDI3 Chroma Upscaling for 1080i material using 32 neurons. I believe 64 neurons started to cause jerkiness, but it's been a bit since I tried it, so I'd need to verify.

I have since upgraded the machine and installed a R7 260x & use the NNEDI3 Image doubling (set to 1.5) at 64 neurons for SD upscaling. Use Jinc3/AR for Chroma based on the current recommended "level 5" settings for madvr.
