Has anyone gotten the LAME mp3 plug-in to work with any version 8.x.xxx

For version 8, you must use the MP3 Encoder for version 8.  It is Lame.

I have dowloaded MP3 Encoder for MJ 8.0, Date 1/22/2002, version 2.0.42. Although, the Plug-in manager reports it to be version 2.0.44. Is there another one somewhere?
