Title: Gizmo

When using Gizmo and using the option of playing music through the phone itself I believe the signal is degraded to the level of resolution the phone can accept any play.  But when using the Gizmo phone app with the "server" option does it also degrade the signal in any way? Or is the phone just being used as a remote control in that instance, with the digital signal going from the computer USB output to my DAC digital input exactly the same as if I was controlling it using the computer alone?

The phone is only a remote control in that case, and the instance of MC you control plays the file in its original version.
