Title: Subtitle Color
Post by: Amleth on February 19, 2014, 04:00:23 am
Is there any chance, in some future release, we could have the ability to force the default subtitle base and border colors in the subtitle options under Options->Video, instead of leaving them fixed as white and black?

Seems a realtively simple change? I'm really used to yellow subs by now and most players let you specify custom default color/s to use if the subs don't specify any, or even to forcibly override if they do.

It can be easier on the eyes, though I'm used to films only using yellow subtitles when they are not in the disc's native language.

That said, I second the request. I would prefer to use 235 (video white) rather than 255 for subtitles - and I think this should be the default.

I already asked this a long time ago, now I have to add the code in the srt file and for sure it would be easy if it was something
we could choose it the settings of subtitles.
