Is there a way that one can rip a CD without each track being separated? This problem is most acute in classical music, but also is an issue on, e.g. Abbey Road, where the songs follow one another without pause, but have diiferent track numbers.

Did you uncheck 2 second gap?

I'll see.

I think the 2 second gap that KingSparta is referring to concerns gaps between tracks when burning a CD. As to ripping, I'm not aware of MJ being able to rip multiple CD tracks to a single file as part of its normal GUI operations.
There is an excellent discussion of your problem (and mention of freeware solutions) at the following URL:

Good luck.

I think he ment Burn.
(Maybe)

Just go to Tools...Options. Pick the Playback tab and where it says 'between tracks', pick Gapless
Voila

He wants multi-tracks ripped to a single file. Can't be done with MJ (or MC...AFAIK). You could use the Media Editor to "glue" the tracks together. However, nothing is better than Exact Audio Copy at multi-track rips into one file (and it's fast, accurate, and free).
