Title: Rio Digital Audio Receiver
Post by: Harry the Hipster on February 21, 2002, 04:34:09 pm: Anyone have any experience with this unit? Sounds like a nice solution, maybe better than the Sonicbox I'm using.

If you listen closely, you can hear my wife's teeth gnashing in the background. After 36 years, she can spit out "Don't even think of doing that" before I've formed a clear impression of what it is I want to do that she might not like. Saves a lot of wasted effort.

JimH: This is a cutting edge company. Any chance of JRiver partnering with them?

First, do you have a digital camera?
Second, you ought to know by now that pictures are not allowed in courtrooms.

Post by: Darwyn on February 22, 2002, 02:18:50 am: I am very impressed with the look and description of the newest Rio product: RIOT. This is another 20 GB portable, but with FM tuner. Very stylish and nice looking diplay. If the sound is anything like the quality from the Rio 600 it will be winner. Creative and Archos far from impressed me with style, functionality or audio. Looks like everyone is out of stock on these things. Likely that SonicBlue is playing for maximum hype by restricting supply.
