Title: How to burn 44-16 CD from 96-24, etc. files?

Is there somewhere to specify the output format for burning a CD or does MC automatically downsample HiRes formats such as 96-24? 

Would like to create a CD playable in car, etc from higher res files.

Great question -- and also does the program apply dithering in order to preserve as much hi rez as possible? If not, can this (dithering) be a feature in the future?
