I have a bunch of .mp4 music videos which all show the same thumbnail image in MC - because the first few minutes of each video from this source is very similar... always the same logo, then a standard view of the opera house, then the orchestra playing the intro.
After about 4 minutes, the videos look very different, with different singers on different sets.
So, if I could get MC to pick its thumbnail from later in the .mp4 file, such as 5 minutes in, I could recognize each file visually from its thumbnail. Is it possible to make that happen for selected files?
(there is no album art available from the internet, just thumbnails extracted from the video)

Yes, go to "Tools → Options → Tree & View → Thumbnails → Capture Video Thumbnails at __ seconds"
Or simply search for "capture" in the options box to be taken there directly. 300 seconds will be 5 minutes in.
You may then have to select the files, and use "Tools → Cover Art → Rebuild Thumbnail" to update the images.

Thank you - that's great!
This program has so many features, it takes a while to find them all :)
