Title: JRemote windows 7 with bluetooth wireless speakers
Post by: skinny2 on March 04, 2014, 12:09:58 pm
Does anyone know whether you can use JRemote iPhone 5s using Windows 7 outputting sound to wireless bluetooth speakers?  My setup: laptop tethered via a USB cable to a DAC, DAC tethered to my preamp, outputting to my stereo.  What I want to do is be in another room in the house, select/play music via JRemote app playing music through a bluetooth speaker(s)

Yes, I bought a BT transmitter (the small kind you put in the pc usb port), it shows up in the drop-down list in jriver where you can select output devices. If your speaker supports blutooth - aptx get a transmitter that supports that too. Personally if find BT fiddly as I have to re-link transmitter and receiver every day, but that maybe just my receiver that is dumb..
