Title: recording mono speech analog input at lowest possible bit/sample rate

Please can you tell me what the lowest bit/sample rate for recording is possible with your software.  I have mono speech audio-tapes which I want to record, and minimum file size is essential, not quality.

32 Kbps using Mp3
5 Kbps using Windows Media Format
