Title: Newbie here cannot watch movies

hello, first post. I'm in my trial period. I tried to transfer my movies I've gotten from Amazon using Amazon unbox. I tried to pull them into JRiver and when I did it will not play. I'm using Windows 8.1. I love JRiver and have had a perfect experience till this. Something I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I believe movies from Amazon are in DRM protected WMV format.  Do they play in Windows Media Player (WMP)?  Maybe try playing with WMP first, and if it pulls down the license, maybe Media Center will play them afterwards?

Yea WMP is the only place I can get them to play, how do I change them over? Do you know? Is it protected by a license or something?

Yes, they're protected by a DRM license.  After you start playback in WMP, can you go back to Media Center and play it successfully?  I'll do some testing here.
