Title: User Account Setup Help! Files not showing under user accounts.
Post by: Magoo on March 21, 2014, 10:40:03 pm
If someone could help me with this would be much appreciated.

Trying to setup 2 user accounts to split the view between me and my wife's single library.

I started with a empty library, we each  have our own music  in separate music directory's in one library. (No Duplicates)

In Auto-Import I have two folders and set them up like this:

Folder 1 = D:\Karens Music , then added under apply these tags (optional) , User:User1  (Field = User, Value =User1)

Folder 2 = D:\Brians Music , then added under apply these tags (optional) , User:User2                     ""

Ran the Auto Import with no problems.

Added a User Called User1 and in Files to show put in User1

Added a User Called User2 and in Files to show put in User2

On the Admin account every single Album is there from both Auto Import folders and every looks perfect.

When I switch anything other than Admin (User1 or User2) I get "There are no File. Double click to add files to the library" ?

My goal is here is to have have admin show everything , and then when I switch to another user just show only that users albums/files.

In the past I ran two separate libraries, but I had trouble keeping them in synch and some other issues.....

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Currently running a fresh install of 19.0.121

Thanks,
Magoo

No problem.  Two people had asked.

Thanks for reminding me to answer the other question too.
