Title: playing iso SACD
Post by: gheinzel on March 24, 2014, 06:54:58 am
I did not find any working description on how to be able to play a SACD ISO in JR19

I Followed the instructions on how to - I set auto playback, ISO is selected and so on..

When I double click to play the ISO, a new window pops up with a copy program.

Please give a step by step explanation for a normal pc literate person on how to make the iso play.

Thanks

An SACD ISO should import just like any other audio format. For help on Importing, see the wiki (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Import).

Once imported, you should see the tracks in MC, depending on the ISO, it can list the artist, album and track info, but I've also seen ISO's that import without showing any tags (artist and album info empty).

Albums with empty tags are either all the way at the end, or at top. The new ISO should also be under playlists recently imported.

When you find it, you can doubleclick a track to play it.

If you still fail to get it to import or play, please give mode details about the steps you're going through. Screenshots of error messages or popups also help.

Thanks for the hint.

I ran the import tool and can see the iso image now for example inside the "last added" folder in playlists for example.

Klicking on the file to play it back however opens the same window with the copy program again. It is not an error message, but the file simply will not play.

I wanted to add some images here but it seems as if I klick on insert image, there is just a text posted here and no window where I can select an image from the explorer opens.

So additional help needed, thanks!

Check that the Media Type and Media Sub Type are correct.
Media Center should be detecting that it is Audio/Music.
