I Tried To Copy, And It Only Made The Folders, And Did Not Copy The Files.

when Using Other copy programs they copy fine.

I just tried to copy 1 file to drive "D", and it worked.

then I tried To Copy 1 File To Drive "Y" (The Drive I Have Been Trying To Copy To) And It Worked.

Then I Tried To Copy 18589 Files To Drive "Y" - This Did Not Work.

So the issue Is when trying to Copy Many Files At The Same Time Or There Is A File Within That 18589 Files That Is Tripping MC Up When It Is Preparing To Copy.

If it were me - and had 18K files - I would use another tool to do the actual copy work and then use R, M & Copy to repoint the library after the fact in MC.

Kind Of Defeats the purpose of fixing MC copy Issues.

I just found A Folder Problem, So MC may have been aborting the copy on that.

I will test it out soon to see if the folder issue made MC fail, It was Kind of interesting it was a folder issue on "The Mary Jane Girls". Windows Explorer And Directory Opus Also Would Issue An Error, That's How I Found That Issue With The Folder.

Well - it's also a bit forward to blame MC if Windows can't even navigate that folder correctly. MC does not "trump" the OS - and if there is a file system issue - I wouldn't expect MC to gracefully navigate it.

In all my use of R,C and Move (Which is a LOT) - I have never come across any issue that I could pin on MC. It's always an issue with a file or the filesystem and I have always solved the issue by letting Windows care of it.

at any rate, I am going to start another copy to see if it was the folder error that tripped up MC.

I will report my results.

when Copying in windows Explorer it said it could not find the file, and or folder, but the error message was cut off.
