Title: Adding YouTube Channel As A Podcast

I'm having difficult adding the Lifehacker video podcast from YouTube. I have successfully added the following feed to IFTTT and Feedly but MC19 can't seem to read it properly:
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/Lifehacker/uploads

Am I missing something?

I think I know the answer:
YouTube does not support the downloading of videos - just the linking.

Sorry to have wasted anyone's time with this!

Media Center does have the option to download videos from YouTube.
 
Unfortunately it doesn't like something about the way YouTube's RSS feeds are formatted, and can't read them. This issue has been there for as long as I've been using the program.
 
It would be really nice if this was fixed.

Does media center have the ability to store the URL to a youtube video for playing later, either by clicking on it, or storing it in a playist?
If not can someone walk me through how to download youtube videos to media center?

There's a secret feature about adding YouTube to Podcasts.  Add a new feed and type youtube://insert_search_term_here and it'll show episodes for the search and use the Podcasting engine.

There are a handful of channels I'd love to have updating via the podcast engine.

Sorry, I have tried a number of solutions, nothing works, Matt.
The url for the youtube video I want to add to podcasts is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvtMNHeyxsw
So what do I enter in the "new feed" area?
It is looking for a url
your post suggest I use youtube://and.the.link
Please clarify.

Subscribing to a search term is not of much use, but subscribing to a channel is.
