Title: benchmark dac showing wrong bitrate despite ASIO
Post by: lamboption on April 02, 2014, 06:01:51 am
dell XPS321X laptop windows 7
USB out to benchmark DAC2

Ive tried every output option direct , asio ,wasapi etc with no upsampling enabled in MC. Offset 0

Playing a Cd quality file the DAC always shows it is receiving 24/192 ,which is the option I enabled in Control Panel / Manage Audio devices/benchmark Dac /properties /default format . Changing it to CD then has the benchmark DAC showing CD files playing even if they are 24/192.allow applications to control it is ticked

the audio path in MC shows no change is being made

clearly however the laptop is doing some digital processing , how do i bypass it pls ?

Check that you have Sample Rate set to "No Change" in Player → DSP Studio → Output Format. (right-click to set them all)

FIXED...ty so much , that was quick :)

so I just checked the "output format" box and changed nothing and now it registers all the files correctly
