Title: Fixed : "300" BD - issue post seeking (= fast video)
Post by: jmone on April 04, 2014, 06:27:33 pm
I've was doing some post ReFS testing and one of my BD's ("300") behaves oddly.  If I do a seek post the 40min mark, the video starts playing at a much higher frame rate (the audio is fine) with EVR.  If I seek prior to 40Min it is fine.  It I do not seek it is also fine.  I've not seen this on other rips I tested (including other VC1 disk with Dolby TrueHD rips).  I don't "think" it is related to the change to ReFS but maybe a direct show filter issue but I can not be sure.

Any suggestions to narrow it down?

Thanks
Nathan

Actually when using madVR, post a seek you get either a black screen or a single video frame.

Did you test it from a normal location again? :p

Yup same thing.  Oddly it plays from the M2TS fine, just not as a BD.  So I went back to the original disk..... and found the "source" is still one of my HD-DVD --> BD converts  :-X  that I've not replaced.  FYI - same issue from the ODD but really not worth bothering = "broken file" I'm guessing.

Thanks
