Title: 190.0.124 Freezes volume control
Post by: jmrdc on April 09, 2014, 10:47:36 pm
Apologize if this is redundant, but I can't use my Mac keyboard volume control buttons as long as MC Mac is running even if I minimize MC.

Thanks
JR

While it is running, or while it is playing but paused?

And can you describe what options you have enabled in Tools > Options > Audio, please? In particular, anything about your Audio Device (mode, settings, etc) and your Volume mode.  But really anything you tweaked around with in there away from the defaults.

Thanks.

If you have MC internal volume control disabled and MC set to handle media keys, the volume buttons won't work.

I bet that's it.  Yep, that looks like a bug, and I agree with your request in the other thread.  I can test later to confirm.

Thanks for looking into it.  I'm mobile right now, so I can't answer the previous questions. All apologies.
