Title: FYI: Importing playlists from iTunes -- regarding Dashcode and XML files
Post by: Maeghaus on April 12, 2014, 07:12:16 pm
Apple no longer updates Dashcode, the developer program I have suggested in past threads to modify iTunes XML playlists so that they can be imported into MC. Dashcode does not run under Mavericks (barring some tweaking tricks). My suggestion is to download a copy of TextWrangler (free from the developers), from the App Store or on site (Bare Bones Software). I suggest TextWrangler because of its high ratings and that it is free (really free -- no in-app purchase needed). Other XML-compatible programs are available. But if all you need to do is modify iTunes XML files, this program does the job.

Love JRiver and MC!

MC 19.0.131 resolves the issue w/importing iTunes' XML files.
