Hello,
I'm new to streaming music and using MC, so my question is probably basic, but I can't find the answer on this forum.
I recently got myself a WD NAS and a Cambridge Magic 6 streamer. I play both flac and mp3 from WD NAS on the Magic 6. I use MC on my Windows 7 PC to control the playback. There is a volume slider in the top left corner om MC. I can move it, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on volume level. After a few seconds, it always jumps back to 28%, no matter how slow or how fast I slide it.
On my Galaxy, I have BubbleUPnP. It comes with a volume slider too. This slider works for me.
What am I doing wrong in MC ? Any idea anyone ?

Try setting MC's volume to Internal. It's in audio settings.
But DLNA is a special case. Our wiki has a topic you could read.
How you are playing makes a difference. You can "push" to the Renderer, or you can tell the Renderer to "pull" from the Server. If you use a Controller, you are telling the Renderer to pull from the Server.
