Title: Display issues with Denon AVR-1912 and MKV files

I have recently changed my Home theater configuration from a Denon AVR-3808 to a Denon AVR-1912. The HTPC was and it is connected to the AVR via HDMI. I noticed that MKV files do not play in the full screen configuration (or in theater view). The display blanks every sec or so ... VLC or PowerDVD 12 do  not show this behavior (just to exclude a Windows issue). The Video card drivers (Geoforce 450)  have been updated to the latest 2014 version, but the problem remains. AVI files and plain DVDs play normally with no visual interruption. I have version 19.0.128. I have also tested version 18.0.212 with similar results !!

Any feedback will be quite welcome

Please try Red October Standard.

Try toggling hardware acceleration on and off.

Thanks Jim turning off the acceleration solved the problem
