Title: Playlist don't show up in my 2014 Corvette music system
Post by: JetBlack on April 22, 2014, 08:01:26 pm
I down loaded a bunch of my playlist along with the music to a USB zip drive that I can plug into my vette. Unfortunately the Playlists do not show up in the media system.
Not sure if you have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Thanks

Does the media system, what ever it is (I think from Bose), allow for reading playlists?

Export the playlists as type M3U.

I checked and the Playlists from MC are already M3U's. I read the Corvette forum link, but not sure what I need to do differently. Do the Playlists need to be in the root folder to be recognized?
Thanks

Try '.m3u without leading dot'.

Do the paths in the M3U playlist match those of the external files on the thumbdrive?  The car's system may not assign the same drive letter, so you probably want to use Relative Paths in your playlists.
