Title: Black on Black skin

I get an error message every time I bring up MC with the "Black on Black” skin:

"The current skin is designed to work with Windows Aero, but Windows Aero is not currently available on this system.

Blah Blah Blah…

It is strongly recommended that you choose a different skin that is compatible with this system.”

But MC still comes up with this skin and works. How do I get rid of this error message?

You've posted in both the Windows and Mac boards in the past, so I'm not sure which system here.

If Windows, do you have an Aero capable system and have Aero enabled?

Try using Windows Run dialog and typing in:

   windows experience index

and look at the Graphics section.  You may need to re-run the assessment.

I am sorry. I did not realize I posted in both. One of those days I guess. I have MC running on Mac OS X. From what you say, it looks like I will need to change from this excellent skin. I prefer this skin because the song that is currently playing I see is highlighted.

This improper posting will not happen again.

It worked on my iMac, FYI.

But I don't think it has been updated yet for hi rez displays.

OK. Thank you very much for your timely replies. You do have an excellent product. The audio streaming over the Internet works too.

I'm just a user like you... JRiver does have a nice product.
