I have a playlist with all of my audio files in a particular order, and I want to tag the files (in the same way we tag 'Artist', 'Genre', etc.) with the value of Seq - which is the current playlist order.
I understand that I can fill the files' Track # with the current playlist order and then copy-paste the field to a field of my choosing. But if I do that, then I lose the original, correct Track # values.
How do I go about doing this? Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

Coincidentally, another user asked the same question recently, and I replied:

You literally just made my life worth living. This function in itself probably will save me time in the neighborhood of thousands of hours... Holy crap.
See I like to keep all my music files in one massive playlist (10k+ songs) in a certain order, and then derive smaller subset playlists (genres, moods), but still maintain the original order, relatively. So now I don't have to order these manually more than once, ever. Just need to refresh the field I chose with =Counter() from now on.
So please never remove this functionalityyyy!!!!!!!!
