Title: Trouble playing DVD rips located on external USB drives

When I Play DVD rips located on local 'C' drive all works fine.
Playing DVD rips located on external USB drives causes trouble (nothing happens, black screen).

Unfortunately, this seems to be an issue with the Microsoft DVD Navigator.

One solution would be to convert your DVD rips to MKV using a tool like MakeMKV for example.

Hi,

I've also encountered this problem with my DVD rips stored on an external USB drive.

Since then, I've converted some to .mkv files (works fine). I've also bought a NAS and DVD rips stored on its drives play flawlessly.
