Title: NexII player
Post by: angryjohnny on February 22, 2003, 05:39:27 pm
When I attempt to drag and drop an mp3 file onto my portable device driver file in the directory tree, the jukebox tries tocopy file to the driver marked A: drive, but an exclamation message appears saying "Cannot create output file." I've downloaded serveral maqnager files and USB driver files from the frontier labs website for Nex II and un-zipped them, but whats nex-t, so to speak...Please help.  :-X

Does your jukebox show up as a Removable Drive? It should have it's own drive letter, if so. And it should NOT be A:. To my knowledge, that is ALWAYS reserved for the floppy 3.5" drive. If it does show up as a drive, a drag & drop should work. Drop it right on the drive letter in the tree.

You should see your drive letter under CD DVD and Handhelds and be able to drop files to it there.
