Title: Download not running

I am new to Mac and am trying to set up a Mac Mini when I down load the JRiver it seems to run fine but disappears when I shut down the computer. as if it didn't actually "run" for lack of a better term

there doesn't seem to be any other options when I download other than "download.

I appreciate any help with this, Thanks Ken
