...I'd just like to wish everyone Happy Eurovision for tomorrow.
:)

Great viewing - Watched the 1st Semi Finals last night. Not seeing any classic Nordic Heavy Metal yet (far to many ballads!)

Yeah, I love it actually, and I know quite a few people who like it even though everyone slags it off in public! It certainly is great entertainment, a huge spectacle and you do actually hear some good stuff from time to time. I like Sweden, Norway, Germany and Slovenia...and secretly Poland as I think that's the type of thing that is likely to take everyone by surprise. But I guess Austria will pick up a few votes.
I downloaded the Lordi video on Wednesday night....

It is also a sort of drinking game. SBS (Australia) run a twitter feed with calls for "Drink" on Key changes, Fog/Wind Machines, High Hair etc.

With the # of Key changes, Fog/Wind Machines, High Hair etc you can lose track of reality pretty quickly!

That was one of my favourites actually, it was really funny. I can't see that anyone could take offence at it, it was all very Benny Hill and Carry On and all done in the best possible taste... Now the voting patterns have been release apparently the UK public voted it top (that shows you what type of people we are...) but the jury didn't rate it at all and put Austria top. BTW I downloaded the proper video (it was actually a song the group released last year) and it's even better than the live performance!

I noticed another trend this year - dubstep sub-bass drops!
