Random Question.

There is always one remote function that doesn't work across my devices and requires 1/2/3 remotes on the table. In my current A/V setup, CEC covers some but not all of the shared commands between player and TV, but doesn't control volume on my amp (not an AVR.)

Is there a commercial product out there that will take an ir blast from one device (in this case volume controls on a samsung TV remote) and convert it to a blast from another device (here volume on an integrated amp)?

I know about Harmony, and have a JRiver HP remote from a previous setup. But it would be awesome to just use the TV remote and have a blaster take over/route this one function.

If you have the blasters for the HP one, JR can blast commands to 3rd party devices. Don't know how it works, but check the wiki for starters :-)
