Title: No audio thru my Lexicon MC12HD
Post by: jrdiandrea on May 22, 2014, 09:48:01 pm
I cannot get audio thru my Lexicon MC12HD pre-pro. The video is excellent....just no audio. I have a caps Zuma computer with JRiver installed. HDMI out from caps to the Lexicon. I cannot figure this out and it's driving me crazy!

I have a few zones. One I use my Viola Audio Laboratory Crescendo Pre/DAC. This is just for music and I have the USB out of caps into the Crescendo. This has always worked fine in Asio.

The other zone is for Lexicon to watch TV or video from my NAS. i have tried several audio selections and simply cant get audio. However, if I use the Crescendo zone I can watch and hear the video. Crescendo is 2 channel so I'd rather use Lexicon to get 7.1.

Anyone using a Lexicon by chance?!  I just dont know what to try at this point.

Do you have the correct output selected under Options->Audio->Audio Device?

Thx very much for responding. And, you know, that was my big question. I dont know how to determine that. I feel silly and was able to figure out other configurations, such as my living room using an Integra Receiver, a Dragonfly for other zones thru the Lexicon (deck & other areas) but I am stuck here on this one.

If you're doing 7.1, you may want the device to do the decoding (using bitstreaming).

Thx, as always, Jim. I'll  give it a try this weekend.
