Is it an enhanced CD (Audio CD with some data - usually screensavers or something like that)?

Sorry for the D lay Goof.  I should change my name to busy man.  By the time I came back to the forum I couldn't remeber my name (perhaps dumb man)or my beef until I tried to rip the same cd........aaaaahhhhhh.

Yes Beutifulgarbage has some sound mixing program on it and some lyrics.

Do you know of a way to get to the music?

tks

Ok... I'm honestly not mad about this, or anything... but it's "Doof" not "Goof". The last thing I need is another [former member] running around (not sure if you'll understand that little in-joke or not - depends on how long you've been here and how much time you typically hang around). Next Page

I actually don't know the answer to this question. I do know that MJ has had issues with Enhanced CD's in the past, but I'm not sure if they were ever resolved, or what the fix is. Try searching Interact (using the Search function) for posts about "Enhanced CD" and the like. It may turn up something.

Looks like my post is missing. I don't think it can be because of a harmless pun. So here the low down on Beutiful Garbage CD.
-----------------------------------

From http://www.fatchucks.com/corruptcds/z.garbage.beautifulgarbage.html

"This [Beutiful Garbage CD]is the enhanced CD. Upon initial insertion to PC, the auto-play function launches the setup program for the enhanced CD features. Canceling the setup and accessing the CD from any CD player software enables the CD to be played. CD was *ripped* (copied for self-use) successfuly with MusicMatch Jukebox version 6.10.0225"

Hope this helps.

No longer Sad so apparently the new name is more appropriate.  Thanks Guys.  My apologies Doof.  I have everything I own on an external HD and it would suck to always have a small stack of CDs that I can't rip.
