Title: Problem Syncing to Virtual Handheld (can't convert to 128 kbps) [solved]
Post by: richromano on May 26, 2014, 03:35:07 pm
I am running into a similar problem as:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=76049.0

I have tried both MC18 and MC19.  When I try to sync a virtual handheld and select to force the format to be converted from MP3 VBR to MP3 128 kbps it only converts the files sometimes (usually not).  If I select to convert to another format such as .wav etc it will always convert.  Of course that doesn't help me since I need to convert to MP3 128 kbps.  If I use Tools->Convert Format it does work.  Any help would be appreciated.

The obvious question is if you have Options->Handheld->Conversion->Audio->Mode set to "Specified output format" and not the default "Specified output format only when necessary"

Make sure you put MP3 in Handheld > Files, Paths, & More > Supported Types
